Hi!

I'm Lauren, a California native, outdoorswoman, and Product enthusiast in the consumer tech space.

I followed my nose to the startup world, where I thrived building Product at Heirloom, a startup pioneering no-code tools to secure our online identities. I particularly enjoy executing guerrilla growth initiatives, learning from engineers, and working directly with users to solve their pain points.

My passion for high-impact work drew me first to the legal field, where I spearheaded restorative justice initiatives and advocated for survivors of severe abuse. After finding myself constantly devising side projects to optimize workflows at law firms and government agencies, I developed an interest in software, UX, and data-driven process optimization.

From law firms to startups, I have a habit of asking big-picture questions and executing creative process improvements that empower my teams.

Outside of building product, I surf, run rivers, and fix sailboats.

I'm currently fulfilling a lifelong dream of crossing the world’s largest ocean via the slowest available method: 35-year-old sailboat. Check out my tracker!
